           This encyclopedia contains several useful pages about Hitler's rule in Germany. Also mentions about other important people/politicians who supported Hitler's ideology. In addition, this source helped to grasp a better knowledge on what Nazi Propaganda was mainly about.

           There are several reasons this book in particular was useful; this book has information about how the Reich's government works and also how the society reacted towards Hitler when he had made his decisions about the Holocaust. Also, this book mentioned about other people in Hitler's life and how they supported Hitler and his ideology about his hatred against Jews.  

 

Bytwerk, Randall L. Bending Spines: The Propagandas of Nazi Germany and the German Democratic Republic. Copyright 2004 Michigan State University Press 

          It was a very useful source in a way, because this book is filled with facts about Hitler and his German Democratic Republic. Things about the conference about Nazi Propaganda, and the Final Solution were mentioned in a detailed manner for young readers to grasp an understanding of how Hitler and his followers took charge to affect people with propaganda. . 

Fest, Joachim. Inside Hitler's Bunker: The Last Days of the Third Reich. Copyright 2002 by Alexander Fest Verlag, Berlin. 19 Union Square West New York, NY 10003

           This source in particular was very interesting, yet extremely useful for facts. In addition, this book not only tells just facts about Hitler and his last days of the Third Reich, but tells an interesting narrative. Because an interesting narrative was used, this was one of my easiest sources to use because it is easier to get a much better understanding about Hitler's government.  

 

Fulbrook, Mary. A Concise History of Germany. Copyright Cambridge University Press 1990 New York, NY 10011 

          This book outlines important details about the Holocaust and how the propaganda was spread very easily and very rapidly. Also, this book basically talks about different examples of Hitler's magic formula of the use of professional propaganda. In addition, several pages also included brief descriptions about Hitler's youth group that helped promoted confidence to hate the Jews.   

 

Gellately, Robert. Backing Hitler: Consent and Coercion in Nazi Germany. Copyright 2001 by Robert Gellately. Oxford University Press Great Clarendon Street Oxford 0X26DP

           This source was very useful in a way because this book has detailed information about how Nazi Propaganda was communicated and how conflicts with the Jews had occurred. It also mentions about Hitler from life to death, which gave me a better understanding of how Hitler had lived throughout World War II.

           Very helpful source about Hitler and his Nazi force. That gave a better grasp of how the Nazis performed  professional propaganda to make regular citizens believe in their Anti-Semitic ideologies. This source was also useful in another way, because it had mentioned facts about the "Final Solution of the Jewish Question."  

 

Leitz, Christian. The Third Reich. Copyright 1999 Blackwell Publishers Ltd. 350 Main Street Malden, Massachusetts. 

           In this source, there were a variety of facts about Adolf Hitler, the German leader (1933-1945). This source also approaches the subject of how the Third Reich works in one government, and also how the Nazis ideology turned into professional propaganda. Towards the end of the source explains detailed facts about the "Final Solution of the Jewish Question." 

 

Jaekel, Eberhard. Hitler in History. Copyright 1984 by Eberhard Jaeckel. University of New England  Hanover, NH 03755

        This book was basically an overview on how Hitler had started the Holocaust and how he challenges America and the Jews. This book also mentions about how propaganda spreads and how effective it was.

 

Klemperer, Von. German Resistance against Hitler. Copyright 1992, Clarendon Press, Oxford. Oxford University Press Walton Street, Oxford

           This book has little to do with Nazi Propaganda, but had to do with the World's reaction to what was really going on. According to this book and other Holocaust stories, hardly anybody had made the decision to take action to prove what the Nazis and Hitler were doing were uncivilized and wrong.

 

Meltzer, Milton. Never to Forget: The Jews of the Holocaust. HarperCollins Publishers. 10 East 53rd street, New York, NY 10022 

           Clearly, this was a great historical book about specific details surrounding the major events that had occurred during the Holocaust. This book also tells how the discrimination and the propaganda of the Jews had began in Germany. Furthermore, it discusses some relevant facts about  Hitler's childhood, as well as how he had started to strive as a propaganda leader early in his life.  

 

Raff, Diether. A History of Germany. Copyright 1988 Burg Publishers. New York, NY 10010. 

          This book explains how Adolf Hitler, the ruler, the governor of Germany, had used skilled propaganda to communicate to the German citizens to believe that Jewish people were very unsophisticated and unjustified. Some of the various examples include many racial theories, children's story and poem books, and anti-Semitism. In addition, this books had explained how Hitler had published a book entitled, "Mein Kampf" which detailed how much hatred he had towards the Jewish people. 

 

Resnick, Abraham. The Holocaust. Copyright 1991 by Lucent Books 289011 San Diego, CA 92198-9011 

           Detailed information about the Holocaust, especially about the propaganda communication, the concentration/death camps, and also an elaborate timeline, made this book a powerful source to better frame my understanding of different perspectives. 

 

Rochman, Hazel and McCampbell Darlene. Bearing Witness: Stories of the Holocaust. A Melanie Kroupa Book. ORCHARD BOOKS 95 Madison Ave. New York, NY 10016 

           What made this source so interesting was that there were different examples of Nazi Propaganda and how each one would work. In addition, several survivor testimonies were mentioned and therefore, gave me a better understanding on pro and con about Nazi Propaganda. 

 

Rogasky, Barbara. Smoke and Ashes: The Story of the Holocaust. A Holiday House Book. 18 East 53rd Street New York, NY 10022 

           A great book that has details about how, why, and when Nazi Propaganda took power. This book portrays some important, critical analysis  questions about the different viewpoints of Nazi Propaganda. It even has detailed information about the Final Solution and their benefits to Hitler and the Nazis. 

 

Rol, Ruudvander and Verhoeven. Anne Frank: Beyond the Diary. Penguin Group USA Inc. 375 Hudson Street New York, NY 10014 

           This was a brief book with facts about how regular German Jewish people had dealt with the propaganda, deportations, ghettos, and concentration camps. Also, there were some examples of Nazi Propaganda, such as posters, movies, and children's' books mentioned in this book. In addition, Anne Frank's personal writings from her diary were also included. 

 

Shirer, William L. Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. Copyright 1959, 1960 by William L. Shirer. 1230 Avenues of Americas New York, NY 10020 

          This book is basically arranged like in chronological order on when Hitler rose to power all the way to when he was out of the Reich government. The couple important pages I have read in this book helped me gather my ideas more thoroughly and got me organized.

           This source had plenty of information about the World War II prelude and how Hitler came to power with his ability to spread propaganda.

          Great website. Has mostly propaganda descriptions and Nazi Propaganda posters. Mainly portrays on the pre-Holocaust times, when the Anti-Semitism had been set up.

           This brief, small website has various types of survivor testimonies and how they had managed to live despite the propaganda and the concentration camps.

           This website contains today's pictures of the Holocaust concentration camps and death camps. Great source for pictures portraying directly to the Holocaust.

           Another great source, mostly portraying the "Final Solution to the Jewish Question." Some pictures in this website may be a little shocking, gruesome for some people, especially in the Final Solution Image Gallery.
