The Holocaust was a period of time when the German leader, Adolf Hitler (Rule: 1933-1945) and the Nazis performed skilled propaganda to make Jews look unjustified and improper. Hitler and his allies, or people used various, countless ways to perform propaganda to spread the idea of hating Jews to people all over Germany such as posters, children's school books, newspapers, and films. Hitler had communicated his hatred (by speeches and especially his book, "My Struggle") against the Jews because most of them were communists. In addition, Hitler had blamed the Jews for starting the world wars and for causing economic issues and downfalls.

Anti-Jewish songs
As Hitler became popular, the propaganda spread vigorously and became extremely out of control. Although educated citizens noticed the obvious signs of the discrimination and propaganda, nobody had taken any action into standing up for what was right and wrong. As a result, conditions for Jews worsened and got out of control. As the propaganda got worse, more anti-Jewish/racial laws were made, such as the Nuremberg Laws in November 1939, when the Jews were forced to wear the Star of David, the symbol of Judaism, to make the Jews feel shame. This was a true tragedy, even at times, to grotesque to be real and worst of all, words cannot explain how terrible the Jewish population were treated during the Holocaust.

In the late 30's-early 1940's Hitler decided that all Jews should be murdered systematically through concentration camps all over Europe. In the different camps, different types of human torture was being used to torture those who were forced to go there. The specific camps, such as Auschwitz-Birkenau and Dachau were used as death camps and extreme labor-working camps. In the death camps, mass killings were performed systematically, such as using Jewish for human experiments and gassing the Jewish to death with carbon monoxide or a highly poisonous gas called Zyklon B in gas chambers. Labor camps also had extreme conditions as well, such as harsh labor they were forced to do, despite cold or hot weather, or level of health. As a result, more than 6 million Jewish and non-Jewish citizens were not only murdered systematically, but also by starvation and contagious diseases through the concentration camps and the ghettos in just the time span from 1933-1945. These events were caused by Anti-Semitic propaganda performed by Hitler, the Nazi, and regular, educated German citizens. Why couldn't this outraging, horrifying, and saddening events couldn't be stopped? Didn't anyone know better than go with Hitler and the Nazi's racial speeches and theories? Therefore, this tragic event had left a permanent mark as well as a shocking lesson to people all over the world.
Although the Holocaust tragedy of propaganda could of been stopped, nobody took action for what was wrong before the propaganda spread uncontrollably. Who knows which country, race, or religion could be next? Standing up for what you believe is the key to understanding before the propaganda starts to dominate. Take notice for the signs of propaganda/discrimination and take action; such communication could determine how the world would react. Take action for what is right; history has the tendency to repeat itself if nothing is done.
