Conclusion
In conclusion, the artwork and posters of World War I were a means of communicating the state of the soldiers during the war, the conditions of the war, and the political state of the government in controlling the public view of the war. The artwork and posters were used in the military and political campaigns to recruit and inform people of the situations in World War I. This method of communication informed people to give them an understanding of what was happening in the war. However the views made by the artwork and posters were to the government's approval. Most importantly the pictures and artwork captured the mood of the war, but they not only did that. They were used to make sure people never forgot the events of the Great War and what occured during that time. The artwork pieces were used to keep the memories of the people and the events that transpired in World War I, alive forever in a way that words failed.
