This interview was given at the beginning of the project. We learned a about how people felt and thought about their immigration. This interview also explained two opinions of why immigrants are good for the United States.

This book provided us with opinions of teenagers that have immigrated to the United States. Remix had actual interviews with teenagers that went through immigration and showed all the emotions that affected them.

This interview allowed us to understand the difficulties and struggles of immigration. We also learned about the many steps of the naturalization process, how long it takes, and the many problems he encountered during the naturalization process.

This amendment gave us historical evidence that illegal immigrants are costing us more money and causing more of a dilemma. It played a part in making us realize our thesis was a failure and it helped us to formulate a much better one.

This book is a story told from a daughter’s perspective, as the title suggests, of her father’s experience of going to America. This story is simple to follow and it easy enough for an 8 year old to comprehend. However, this book was better for pictures than information.

This book taught us about the background of Ellis Island and what the process of immigration was like. This book was very useful in the gathering of information about Ellis Island. It focused primarily on how difficult it was for families to get to the island itself, what kinds of things immigrants would do once they got inside, and what it was like to be headed off to a new land.

We used this book to give us information of the process of immigrants coming to America. It explained in a short story that most children about the age of 7 could understand about the history of how immigrants came to the United States starting in the 1800's. It gave us an explanation in short form about the basics of immigration.

This book explored both sides of legal and illegal immigrant dilemma. It was definitely the most helpful book we read. There were many points about legal and illegal immigration. The author explored both sides of the crisis very well. The information in this book was so valuable that it made us change our thesis statement.
