Televisions are electronic devices that transmit pictures to people all around the world. They provide people entertainment, news and all sorts of things. They allow everyone that owns one to view a station at any time of the day. The television was created in the 1920's by a man by the name of Philo Farnsworth. It started out as a simple machine that only displayed pictures with no sound. Now we have almost everything you can think of. More and more new technologies came out for the television such as VCRs, DVD players, and video game consoles. The television has become a part of a most modern people's everyday lives. They've made different kinds of television shows for the different people personalities. For example, they have cartoons for little kids,  romance and drama for adults and some teenagers. Also, they have integrated newer accessories such as cable and satellite so more people can watch more channels and have more choices of what they want to watch on their own televisions.
