Conclusion

Overall, the propaganda Mao and Kang had used had greatly changed China and its people over 10 years from 1966-1976. There were good and bad changes that Communist China made in attempt to renovate its agricultural and industrial power, at the same time, to have everyone believe in the ideology of Maoism that led to much opposition and chaos. Many families, nearly all in China suffered much during the Cultural Revolution. There are many who lost a love one during the chaotic events of the Cultural Revolution. It was nearly all because of the propaganda that was imposed on the people, that made the people change the way they thought.
There were several good and bad about the Cultural Revolution. The great parts of the Cultural Revolution was that China was formed into one country for the first time in many years as People's Republic of China under the leadership of Mao, Mao drastically improved the agricultural and industrial economy for the people. In addition, the land reforms had been made so that the peasants can have the ownership of the lands the landlords had. However, the Cultural Revolution was a bad thing because of the fact that almost everyone suffered during this time period. It was because of the fact that almost everyone became manipulated with the Ideology of Maoism that led to making wrong judgments such as denouncing and accusing people in a wrong way. People actually started to turn against each other for no particular reason. China eventually turned into mass chaos that whirled much out of control, people were persecuted, churches, mosques, temples, books, and ancient scrolls were burned down. This Cultural Revolution almost made the Chinese Culture and traditions disappear altogether.
Even in today's society, propaganda is being used as a very strong source of communication. It is used on the internet, the media, books, radio, newspapers and almost everywhere today. In many countries today, propaganda is used to not only advertise products for businesses, but to make people think in a certain perspective. Propaganda is being used in many parts of the world including the United States, whether it is a good or bad. Propaganda used as Communication, can truly make drastic differences in what people feel, think, believe, and see in different perspectives. It can make the world come together or tear apart, it can lead to love or hate, it can lead to peace or revolution among themselves. Propaganda has much power in communicating not only ideas, but what people should believe.
