around 72 years old and was in her 40’s when the Cultural Revolution had
started in 1966. She was a real
peasant who lived back in the countryside. She
says that everyone had worked together; everyone ate together at the same
time. From her experience during

Michael Dohr: Personal Interview. 25, December 2004. Mike
Dohr has been teaching high school history for 25 years and still enjoys the
daily challenge of getting students to engage in events outside of their
time and place. He was a teacher-facilitator for the Inland Area
History-Social Studies project out of Cal State San Bernardino for
seven years and served in that same role in summer, 2004, with the
"Teaching American History for 21st Century Citizens" project with
the Los Angeles County Office of Education. He was named

This
was the actual translation on "Mao's Little Red Book." This explained
much about how Capitalists and the bourgeoisie be suppressed.
This was also very effective in communicating the words to the youth to
go against their authorities. This really helped me understand what Mao's
propaganda was all about.
